There are different ways to sell your house and I will cover the overview of the traditional way and an alternative way.
Traditional Way:
1. Prepare your house for sale - eg. Tidy up, clean up
2. Shop for real estate agent - eg. Who can offer better rates and services
3. Get the paper work ready - eg. Contract for Sale
4. Sign up contract with real estate agent, this is normally three (3) months
5. Hope for the best that the agent will find you a buyer
6. Buyer found, agree on price and sign the contract
7. Pack your bags and get ready to move out, normally you have 42 days
8. Settlement time, hand over the key and receive a cheque from your lawyer minus mortgage, agent commission, legal fees
Alternative way:
1. Call us
2. Agree on price and settlement date, we will buy your house as is.
3. Normally my lawyer will prepare all the paper work to save you cost
4. Take the paperwork and have a think, once agreed, sign it
5. On agreed date, you move out and hand over the key and we write you a cheque minus the mortgage.
